Pillar three

Give time

You don’t need a big budget to make a life-saving difference. Time, awareness and action can be just as powerful as money — and just 12 hours a year can help save 10 lives.

Ways to give your hours

Learn & teach CPR

CPR can mean the difference between life and death, and it takes half a minute to learn the basics. Teaching first aid to others multiplies your impact far beyond your own hands. Search “NHS CPR” to start.

Volunteer in life-saving roles

Lifeguarding, community first response, and event medical support put you directly where lives are saved. A few shifts a year is enough to count.

Support local services

Community events, food banks and emergency services all run on volunteers. Kentish Town Food Bank serves Camden’s most vulnerable families with 57 volunteers and two part-time staff.

Spread the word

By inspiring others to take action, your impact multiplies. Share your journey, challenge a friend, and help someone else save their fifty.
