A personal mission turned public movement: celebrate midlife by saving 50 lives in one year.
“Hi, I’m Rich. Approaching 50, I realised how lucky I’d been to live a healthy and full life. I wanted to celebrate by giving back — in the most meaningful way possible — by saving 50 lives in one year.
I started with blood donation and joined the DKMS stem cell register. Then I discovered how many lives could be saved by donating time, money, and even by raising awareness. That idea became Save50 — a movement for anyone to celebrate life by saving others.”
“I didn’t realise how easily I could have such a profound impact. If I gave a few hours, I could save a life. If I got organised, I could save 50.” — Rich, founder

“If just one other person goes down this journey with me, I’d be delighted. These steps are available to everyone, but not everyone has the life space to deal with another challenge right now. If you do — please come along.” — Rich
